Background in South Dublin County Council:
I was first elected to South Dublin County Council in 2014 , 2019 and re-elected in the next Local Election in 2024 on the First count and over the Quota.
My work as an elected Representative on the County Council includes:
Past member, Arts, Culture, Gaeilge, Heritage and Libraries SPC , Current member, Environment SPC.
Twice nominated as Mayor of South Dublin County Council
Clondalkin Local Area Committee Chair 4 times (2015-2016 , 2018-2019 , 2021-2022 and 2023-2024).
Education and work background:
My education, training and work background is in the Disabilities, Homeless and Probation Services and so I have been effective over the past 34 years in helping to solve issues that impact families and communities.

Further education: Qualified teacher and mentor in the Social Care and Community Care disciplines

Peace Commissioner for many years for the County of Dublin and Counties Meath, Kildare and Wicklow.

Founder and Chair, Clondalkin Helping Homeless.
Supporter, Clondalkin Fairtrade Town.
Board member, Global Garden Clondalkin.
Chair, Creative Clondalkin.
Chair, Dublin West branch, Multiple Sclerosis Ireland.
