To ask why SPC chairs are paid? How much is payment and how many meeting a year? Why was this payment introduced ?
REPLY:
The payment for SPC Chairs is is covered under S 142 (i) (c) Legislation Local Government Act 2001.
There are 6 Strategic Policy Committees in South Dublin County Council
The SPC Chairs are paid €6,000 per annum.
